Pictures illustrating the use of simple solar lantern made by youth from Bujumbura-Burundi as proof of possibility of renewable energy for all to keep biodiversity clean

Renewable energy in Burundi:

 Hereby, some pictures illustrating the use of simple solar lantern made by youth from Bujumbura-Burundi. Now a team of last trainees from CICOPA Burundi in conjunction with 2 youth Organizations is operating and preparing to manufacture solar lantern to supply and raise awareness to the Burundian population.

1.At Jean Baptiste’s home, students use the solar lantern to revise their lesson while occurs the interruption of power supply (pictures taken by Jean Baptiste Hatungimana)

2.From Armel King’s home, the simple solar lantern project have to be spread in the whole country cause of its simplicity and efficiency (By JB Hatungimana)

3.The Prosper ‘s solar lantern is now used in his small business to light his kiosk selling household supplies; which now close at 11,00’’ pm, instead of 6,00 pm,the neighbouring population is happy and needs more again like this  (by JB Hatungimana)

4.Ines Nininahazwe says Thanks to UN Habitat to introduce that great Project, now she has no fear from the “black out” in her residential area of Ngagara(Bujumbura town ) and she integrated in a team preparing the project to manufacture new simple solar lantern in Bujumbura(by JB Hatungimana).
